MES Monday Morning Shout Outs!


Mark your calendars. March 8, there will be a Dora Ernst Memorial Breakfast at Hopewell Presbyterian Church in Dillsboro. This church has been a huge support for MES which we are very grateful for!!!


Preschool & Kindergarten registration day is set for April 2nd! Please call our office at 812-654-2922 to get your child signed up & an appointment scheduled! Only 11 spots left for our preschool class!!


MES students will be bringing home order forms for our Little Caesar's Fundraiser which starts today. Thank you in advance for your support and participation!!


MES held a spirit parade for the semi state bound wrestlers. The elementary wrestlers led the way. Congrats and good luck to Garrett, Shane, Brady, and Ashton! #weRmilan





Mary Lou Schwipps and Shirley Bocock, volunteers from Samaritan's Hope Chest, delivered books to each of our fourth graders at Milan Elementary with the message of "Making a Difference" in memory of Roselyn Mckittrick. MES students appreciate this wonderful message and gift.

Milan Community School Corporation was recognized by Project Tomorrow as A Speak Up District of Honor and a Speak Up District of Student Empowerment. We thank our students, parents, and staff for participating in the Speak Up Survey in December. #weRmilan


MES students in Mrs. Herrick's art classes made special valentines for 104 year old veteran, Major Bill White of California, who had asked people from all over the world to be his valentine.


Milan gave shoutouts to these hard working students and to our wonderful counselor, Mrs. Schwering!
