Ripley County Reads is hosting their first ever "Park Hop" starting around mid-March and ending on May 2nd. Park Hop Passport papers are being sent home with students today, so be on the lookout for them!
Milan preschool students in Mrs. Sander's class wore hats today to celebrate Dr. Seuss and his book, "The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins".
Registration is open for Kids Discovery Factory's 8th Annual STEAM enrichment day camp, July 13-16!

Milan Community Schools received a $50,000 Digital Learning Grant from IDOE. For 2020, grants were awarded to districts focused on building digital initiatives around the purposeful and strategic integration of technology into instruction. STEM is growing! #weRmilan

Mark your calendars. March 8, there will be a Dora Ernst Memorial Breakfast at Hopewell Presbyterian Church in Dillsboro. This church has been a huge support for MES which we are very grateful for!!!

Mary Lou Schwipps and Shirley Bocock, volunteers from Samaritan's Hope Chest, delivered books to each of our fourth graders at Milan Elementary with the message of "Making a Difference" in memory of Roselyn Mckittrick. MES students appreciate this wonderful message and gift.
