The Southeastern Indiana YMCA has recently launched a Virtual Kids YMCA on their website, located at https://siymca.org/programs-and-classes/. Each day they are uploading a short newsletter for parents and kids to get some ideas for physical activity and arts/crafts and STEM activities, geared more towards primary, intermediate, and middle school ages, to help during this time of pause. There’s no Y membership needed. Check it out if interested. #weRmilan

MES students in Mrs. Clark's class had the unique opportunity to meet with Gov. Holcomb's wife, Janet, during an online meet today. Students learned she grew up on a farm, was in 4-H, and loves animals. Mrs. Holcomb also shared what it is like being our state's first lady.
Mrs. Lammering's fourth graders were asked to share a Flipgrid video response to describe their greatest fear and how they would manage it (discussion following a reading in online class today). Some students like Kadence, went above and beyond in showing their creative talents.
Mrs. Bushhorn joined her fourth graders for a virtual hot cocoa chat this morning. Next week they will meet for as Juice Box Junkies.
