Beginning with the 2026-27 school year, Milan Community Schools has updated the cell phone policy to comply with the new Indiana Senate Enrolled Act (SEA) 78 on a "bell-to-bell" cell phone ban.
Devices must be turned off and put away, including cell phones, smartwatches, gaming devices, etc. from the first bell to the last.
